CORE Social Classes are designed to provide meaningful opportunities for learners to connect, collaborate, and grow beyond academics. Through engaging group activities, interactive projects, and guided discussions, students develop communication skills, teamwork, leadership, and confidence in a supportive environment.
These classes create a safe and nurturing space where homeschoolers can build friendships, practice social skills, express creativity, and strengthen character—helping them grow not only as learners, but as well-rounded individuals. 💛
Sustainability in Action: Small Steps, Stronger Communities
This month’s program invites learners to discover how families and communities can work together to care for the environment. Through a blend of engaging discussions, hands-on activities, creative projects, simple cooking experiences, and real-world applications, students will develop practical habits for responsible waste management and sustainable living in their daily lives.
Throughout the program, learners will explore key concepts such as shared family and community responsibilities, proper waste segregation, and the difference between biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials. They will also gain a deeper appreciation for recyclable materials and their value, while practicing the principles of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. In addition, students will learn about food waste management, sustainable practices at home, conserving water and energy, and caring for shared community spaces.
The program will culminate in a special QMC Eco Explorers: Sustainability in Action Closing Program at Quezon Memorial Circle, where learners will connect their classroom experiences with real-world environmental practices in a meaningful and memorable way.
